Event description
Arias from The Marriage of Figaro
Set among the majestic ghost gums at Sails in the Desert, as dusk has fallen, Opera Australia and Voyages Indigenous Tourism present a rare and intimate performance of Mozart’s music at its enchanting best.
Atmospheric lighting will set the mood when four of Australia’s finest soloists will perform Figaro, Susannah, Count and Countess singing a selection of superb arias from “The Marriage of Figaro,” giving guests a glimpse into Mozart’s genius for musical characterisation.
During the evening, a gala dinner inspired by the award-winning signature dining experience, Tali Wiru, will be served, along with a range of hand-selected wine pairings in keeping with the joyful and celebratory nature of this memorable evening.
